    vintage atmosphere
    friendly staff

A fine stay for solo travelers

The building has this charming vintage atmosphere that reminded me of simpler times, and the friendly staff really made a difference! Kristopher Berry went above and beyond to help me with a little car trouble I had while I was there.

It wasn't inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, I suppose.

    helpful housekeepers

It was just a good match for a little getaway in Brookline with all in all brilliant value for money. The housekeepers helped me out of a tough parking jam after a long dinner, which I really appreciated. Make sure to check the room for burned-out bulbs before settling in.

    marine life
    great location
    lack of elevator

We had a fantastic time visiting the nearby New England Aquarium with the kids. The opportunity to see colorful marine life up close was definitely a highlight for the whole family. The hotel also had a great location for easy access to the tram.

In my wife’s opinion, the lack of an elevator was rough with our luggage. A bit more attention to cleanliness would really help families with children.

    cozy spot
    fresh pastries
    pleasant garden
    limited breakfast options

I had a lovely time at this cozy spot, enjoying my coffee on the porch and savoring the fresh pastries each morning. There are plenty of relaxing opportunities like unwinding in the garden and taking a stroll around the peaceful surroundings. The only downside was the limited breakfast options, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience! 😊

    local eats
    vintage charm
    quiet neighborhood
    long wait
    unresponsive management

The highlight of my stay was definitely the local eats! Burro Bar Brookline had killer tacos, and Grassona's Italian dished out some unforgettable pasta. Plus, the cozy vibe of the place made it feel like home. The vintage charm of the inn and its location in a quiet neighborhood were also great perks.

However, we had to twiddle our thumbs for 1.5 hours upon arrival because no one was there to check us in. Plus, the TV was out of commission during our stay and we couldn't get in touch with any managers to explain the issues. A bit frustrating, to say the least.
